Holly Jolly Christmas #44

This is a digital from Lacy Sunshine Eleanor and Pickles
This week we are a "Feature a Creature" mode and so here we are.

Done with a 5 x 7 again in SU Cherry Cobbler, Cougar White, because red is not a colour used here unless no choice, but Burgundy and Cherry can handle.  :)

Took the Nellie Snellen oval die and cut out the coloured image and then the Floral Ovals from Spellbinders to accent it.

The paper is a digi from Czes Pachela at Cuddly Buddly.   :Love digi papers because will never run out of them. Picked this one to match the holly on Pickles hat.

The ribbon was a gift.  Thanks Diane.    Beautiful.

The markers ;  Poppy and Berry from Promarker, Green Tea and Avocado (still using Karen) from Prisma and E50, 51, 53, G43, 46, B000, N1, 3, and 5 from Copics

Of course the regular and red liner tape, dimensions

That's it.   Please go over  to the  challenge and enter in this week's Challenge.

Lagoon and Ice

Hi everyone.
This is a card done while playing about with ideas for wedding and anniversary cards  One of my absolute favourites.

It is in the stock from Europe again and die cut with all Marianne dies.  A 5.5 square card.
The inside matches as usual
Hope you like it and thanks for stopping in.

Pretty in Pink

Hi all.

This is the 100th Challenge for the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge

For this one went with a 5 x 7 again and just played.  Here it is.

There are two sets of dies used,  the largest from one set making the white outside frame which is solid in the middle.
So then taking the next set cut out the solid Pixie and then the white layer for over that, which gives the beautiful centre the cut out image is popped on.

For the coloured image, this one was here and have been wanting to colour like the arrangement sitting in front of the credenza.   It is the only fake plant here (if you can call it a plant).  Two feet tall beautiful white with just the hints of pinks where these were coloured.  They actually look so real that people have touched to check, which is the only reason they are around.

Recipe:

Stock:  Close To My Heart Pixie, and White Daisy
Dies:   Spellbinders Elegant Labels 4
             Sue Wilson Santorini
Markers:  Believe it or not only 3.  Copic RV00, YG03 and G43

This is as always finished on the inside, but did the reverse.  The Pixie in the large die cut with the solid centre cut done in white for the inside for personalization or stamping.

Hope you enjoy it, and think about playing along with us for this challenge.

Peoneys in purple and white

This is a 5 x 7 card and love making the larger cards as they give so much more play room.

This was a fun one.

Recipe:

Stock:  CTMH white and gypsy
DP         Digital Paper from Rainbow Connections

Dies:   Memory Box peony
            Spellbinders Fancy Lattice,.

This has the gypsy on the inside and the lattice cut again for personalization.

Enjoy and thanks for stopping in .

Frosty's

This is for the Holly Jolly Christmas Challenge #43

It has to have sewing either real or not, and since my machines are still in the closet yelling to get out, this is it.

This cute digi is from one of the sponsors The Stamping Boutique

Again what my friend calls a  pristine card am guessing.

Recipe:

Stock:  SU Tempting Turquoise
              CTMH white
Digital paper from Jean King
Markers:  Copics - B000. BG01. B23. B4, YT04, N1
                 Promarkers - Ginger,  Honeycomb. Spice
Chiffon Ribbon from stash as buy bulk by yardage
... And a glitter pen on some of the snowflakes.

Hope you like it and thanks for stopping by.

Butterflies

This is for the  Atlantic Heartds Setch Challenge #98

It actually has a butterfly in the drawing as you will see below, and of course, loving the wee things, and also having this beautiful digi paper just printed, had to stay with that theme

Played about a bit and ended up with this.

This is a combination of Gina K Honey Mustard and Blue Denim for stock and of course white thin for the butterflies.

Paper is actually a digital from Barbara Ann Williams at Cuddly Buddly

Butterfly dies are Amuse Arts for the solid cuts and Memory Box for the top layer.

How cool is that.  A friend was using my dies and I was working on a card, Actually finishing off the inside of the purple one with the butterflies on it and she laid the delicate cut ones on the solid ones on the front of it to compare sizes and they fit well enough to use together.   Wish the Memory Box ones had of been in house here when doing that card, so of course had to use both this time.

Sick of butterflies yet:)

Did die cut a sentiment, but you all know that it never goes on a card until needed, but have a birthday, thanks and such in Blue Denim for the bottom right corner.

That's it.   Check out the challenge and see what you come up with.

Here is the original drawing

Challenge 42 Holly Jolly Christmas

This was  challenge to use dies/punches and with the beautiful trees chosen from Fred She Said

Of course anyone knowing me realizes that a red card is almost next to impossible.  Just not a colour that have ever liked so rarely used for cards as well.

That said, decided to go with pink, green and copic markers, then when done decided to glitter the trees.   Huge mistake,  because the glitter hid all the design of the trees, so back to colour some more.  These stamps are so well designed that had to redo.

Then took the glitter pen and dabbed all over for snow on the tree and in the air, but you really have to look to see any in the picture.  Could not get them to show without a glare.

The dies used were SU squares and Nellie Snellen Scalloped Ovals.
Stock is Close To My Heart
Papers are digi from Cuddly Buddly
