Butterflies and Mauves

Hi All

This is for Atlantic Hearts Challenge 96

Recently I had the opportunity to find some beautiful digital papers,  but my printer does not do the justice.  Still playing with the settings to get them the hued needed, but did use one from Rainbow Connections this morning.

Decided this card required butterflies and this paper, and tried a few things, ending up with this.

The stock is Close To My Heart, Gypsy and White Daisy, and the lace from the fabric store.
Butterflies are a set of Amuse Art dies,  and popped up.
Sentiment is a Gina K set called Birthday Duo.

Hope you enjoy it and thanks for stopping by

This is the sketch for you

Holly Bells Tag - Non-traditional colours

Hi all.,
This is the first card for the Holly Jolly Christmas  Challenge DT

The digi is Holly Bells Tag from Stitchy Bears

Decided to do pastels, going with a rose/mauve, grey, but had to add ribbon and it needed the silver.
Coloured with prisma and EK pencils - yes, no markers, to keep lighter and softer.

The paper is digital as well from Elaine Shedrake and also on the inside.
Sponged around the layer and stamped with Tim Holtz Victorian Velvet and then the ribbon from SU used to make like a gift.

The beautiful corner snowflake cut in the sparkle stock was from a friend.  Thanks Diane, thinking that is a die for the "need" list.

That's it.,  Hope you like the non-traditional look of the "package" and will join in the challenge this week.

One colour card

This is actually one done for Christmas, then deciding no.   Think it would be good for a wedding, or something along those lines.

Without a layer and adding ribbon would change, so will play around with it again, \

The top layer is not stamped as no idea what is wanted on it yet.

This was using the decorative labels 4 and lacy ovals  with some of the left over crystal type stock.  This is one sided so not really using for cards any more as does not give the look wanted, but great for playing with.

it is 5 x 7 and depending on the sentiment or whatever decided on could be the way pictured or turned tall.

Die Cut Birthday

This is a new Sue Wilson die and have been playing around with it as able to use a couple of ways, but this card is the first one done with it.

Did with the flowers on the top right on one and bottom left on the other, and since never put these on a card before, hoping they are adhered properly.

This was photographed after the other one was sent out and had it on a chocolate background to try using for a change.    It was the second one with the flowers on the top side.

The inside has the wee middle die cut on one side and the large one for the message completing that.

Here is the first one

As you can see makes a difference so may just keep doing on white.   And yes taken in the same room, different light.

The colours wanted were for a soft spring/water type so chose SU Coastal Cabana and CTMH White Daisy with the marker for ink.

The flowers found on a walk about a store one day and have been in a drawer waiting to be used, so thought it was time :)

Was wondering about ribbons but could not find one that fit this and looked like it belonged, so stopped.

Enjoy and have a wonderful day everyone.

Masculine Birthday

For  Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #94

Absolutely loved this set when my friend showed it to me as have persons it fits perfectly. So of course it had to come and live here.

Sometimes you luck in at finding exactly the right thing for a card for people and this is the second set found like this to be able to use so feel fortunate. They do not like fussy, so these sets not only fill that idea but are of something they love as well.

For This card used CTMH Colonial White, SU Early Espresso, Momento Rich Chocolate ink and the Fabric Weave embossing folder from SB again.

It is almost a clone of the design which is not often done and did not realize until finished, snapped and watermarked etc.  So it stays. On the inside it has the embossed Colonial White on the left side and regular on the right for stamping or writing and edged with the ink as the front.

Here is the original sketch and thanks for stopping in

all occasion

This is one played with to do in a class and used all Close To My Heart paper products on it.
The paper is from the new Seasonal catalogue and called Hopscotch, the stock Colonial White, the ink for the background stamp is Crystal Blue.

The background stamp is from a set of  16 from See D's that was found at a shop going out of business when looking for marker stands.  Found both   :)

The flower stamp which was a gift a few years ago, is well used.  Lends itself to almost anything.   It was coloured with Momento Markers

They had fun doing it so that is what counts

Thanks for stopping in.

Valentines card

This was one for a class this week and we had fun with it.,

The frame is made with the spellbinders matting basics A and B

Close To My Heart products are
 Stock:     Daisy White

                Smoothie
    and Smoothie  Ink

Heart is a cut from the Art Philosophy Cartridge
matching the stamp set called "Seal Love"

The  Hearts embossing folder is one in the new  Catalogue - Seasonal Inspirations 1 which is out until March 31st.

Of course the inside matches and is ready for a stamp or personal message,

For one of the UK groups in

Belong to a couple that are about digis which is what I started with when starting in the colouring, and so still do them.  This one is a favourite from Cuddly Buddly and the paper is from Best Creations

Used copics on this one as well,  E50, 51, 53, N1, YG03, B000 and G43

Since these are the originals from three years ago the E are all drying out so mad scramble here to find the blender refill as have not had to use to try and get a few more cards out of these.

The stock of course is Close To My Heart Daisy White

It was due last night so already posted there, but here it is.  And,  the paper is white embossed, raise and shiny which was why it was purchased three years ago as well.   Needed a dainty pattern for this one.
