Mauve / Pinkish Floral

Hi All,
This is the card for Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge 88
Again a floral one with the beautiful flowers on one of the stamps from the SU set called Bloom with Hope.

This is done with the white stock, and have mega sheets of Bazzill bought three years ago when starting out and of course since in bulk packages, also no idea what the colours are, but love this one.

Also in house here are the 2013 Summer set of promarkers from Letraset, just because of loving the colours in that set, and these are Trick or Treat, Peony and Fresh Bloom, which have been used before with this stock.

The die cuts from the corner are from a Marianne die #LRO226, the sheer ribbon from the material store.

enjoy

Here is the original sketch for you

Christmas Cards - last of them.

Here are a couple more that were not done with dies, but from a package from last year from Close To My Heart.   Took a stamp from another Christmas  set for the trees and added it to this one along with the basics stock behind it.   Glittered the trees, stamped the sentiment and used a grosgrain ribbon from my stash for the bow.

It was taken in a bad light, but is a cranberry, kind of a beige and olive with the chocolate brown behind and for the tree stamps.  The cranberry for the sentiment.

This is another one made from the same setups  from CTMH and colours again, so these as with the sketch ones only are not my designs but switched about a bit as usual.  :)

Ok.  That is is I think for the Christmas cards and now making for next year already as got so far behind this year that had to make more than one of each card, and really don't like doing that unless an order.

Have a super weekend all.

Anniversary, wedding card.

Made this with some of the Marianne died that live here and took to a show with Christmas cards.   A small one, but fun for a few hours.   Ended up with orders for as is and with the crimson for a ruby anniversary card.    That was fine with me.

I just play around with the dies and end up with different set ups which is fun.  This was done on a smaller square before, but like it better on the 5.5 square.

This is Stardream Quartz stock and the text weight inside with a verse from my computer printed on it.   Made up oodles a year or so a go so time to get using them.

This could be a wedding card/invivation or for an anniversary.

Have a good one and thanks for stopping by.

Trees again.

A second post for today.  Was holding back on posts until those getting the cards had a chance to see them first, so have a few more Christmas to post.

The snap of this one I blurred the ink a wee bit on the "Winter", as someone was in too big a hurry to see if the ink had dried.   Nope.  :)  Know better, but hey, gives me a sample.
This is our beautiful Ponderosa Pine

This stamp set is also from Close To My Heart called To You and Yours

The dies for the trees are from Impression Obsession, and then cut out a strip of the Emerald and a thinner one of the quartz for the trees to sit on, taped them all on and that was it.  Simple, most time taken with the cutting again.

The verse inside is on text weight to match.

This stock is again the special stock purchased for special occasions when I feel that a stock in house is now what is required.

Enjoy.

Rose and Quartz

This is another Christmas one done with the Stardream in Rose and Quartz.  The dies are from Memory Box and Spellbinders.

Plain and simple for me.  But did like it.    As usual there is a verse printed off on text paper to match the card.

Thanks for stopping in.    Have a wonderful day

Christmas Moose

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge 86. - Remember anyone can do this, it is an open challenge for anyone and is

This is an old stamp that was purchased long ago when thinking of wanting to make cards.   Was designing and making collector's bears at the time, and this was a Boyd's Bear stamp.  He is called Manheim the Moose.   So got him out to colour and again the stash of Christmas paper from who knows when.

He is coloured with copics  E11, E13, E15,  E31, E37, E42, E53, G47

Took the white stock and layered the beautiful pear stock  with the designer paper, added the ribbon trim, (my bulk supplier), then adhered to the white stock.  Next a pair of the many scissors living here was picked to do two ends of the coloured piece, it was popped up and placed on the front.     As usual the inside is the green and white layers again and a verse from the computer printed on and adhered.

Enjoy.

Here is the original sketch for AHSC 86 which anyone can enter and it is here.

This is the original sketch.    Of course no sentiment on mine as usual.

Simply Reds

This is another card with paper from that box found when going through things to find another home for, so am using up.   It is beautiful red shimmery stripes, more on the burgundy side of the red, and cream/ivory colour.

Took it and paired it with the Colonial White Stock, then added a touch of the Ruby  ink around the edges of the Stock used for the stamp.   Was going to colour the stamp a had for a sample, but loved the look of it like this, so no colour on this one.  This was one purchased a while ago when on a shopping day and it actually is a to and from stamp, for doing tags, but just left that off.   A Penny Black stamp.   And the Merry Christmas is from Impressed by Stamping.    Again wanted a double lined one that size, so thankfully have that one to use.

For the inside, kept it really simple using a matching piece of the Colonial White stock, but sponged about the edges with the ruby ink again and then using the stamp set from a while back called Merry and Bright from Close To My Heart used one of the sentiments on it stamped in the Ruby.

I keep the Christmas stamps and sentiment stamps as one never knows when that exact sentiment will suit a card.    Especially at this season.  Depends on whom the card is going to what goes inside for my cards to most people.

This one says "Let the Spirit of Christmas bring you joy"  and thought it just matched.

The Ribbon again is from my bulk stash.
And there it is.  Hope you enjoy the simplicity of it.

Christmas Angel using Thistle

This card was done for a class where we were using dies.

The card was using the Thistle Stock as the base, taking the White Daisy and  sponging with the  Thistle ink.

The die is from Impression Obsession that we were using for Christmas Cards, and have no idea why using this colour came to mind, but liked it when done.

The Sentiment is one from Impressed by Stamping as the space required that size of stamp in my thinking to offset the design a bit instead of one right across the top.  So that was used instead of one of the many Christmas ones from CTMH here.

The inside again is layered with the white sponged a bit, as well as the edges to match the front pieces then stamped with a saying from a retired set called Card Chatter, Christmas.   (There are a few of the old sets that are so loved that they are staying here.)

Thanks for stopping by.
