One colour Poinsettia

This card was made again with the stock purchased a few years ago when starting cards and thinking of doing specialty ones.   Now that not colouring, have that idea thankfully to fall back on, some stock to start with, and am loving it.  This is an off white, shimmery on both sides.

Die cuts are Memory Box dies.

Since this stock is basically for weddings and special occasions with the text weight for inside, envelopes of all sizes etc available as well as ribbon, am hoping to have a lot of fun creating and making what was originally wanted to do.   Enjoy.

Wedding/anniversary in Punch and Quartz stocks

Well, turned it and varied a bit, but here it is.   Sketch #74

Made this with the stock that just love to use - Stardream, and think I need a better programme to do the pictures in to make it show just how beautiful and shimmery it is.

Made a 5.5 square card and used spellbinders Matting Basics, Floral Ovals, and two Marianne dies, for the doves and rings.  Unfortunately the impressions of the wings on the doves do not show up well here, but they are beautiful in real.    Very dull day and think the lighting does not help as in other pictures they have shown well.

The inside of course is lined with the quartz, and have vellum, or am getting the matching text paper for putting the personalization or verse on the inside.

Again the bitty bling of course is from CTMH,.  The Ribbon is from a store that was able to purchase a whole spool of.  Beautiful organza and just the right width for many cards

Thanks for stopping by again.   Have a wonderful day.

Here is the  challenge

Here is the actual drawing from Michelle and digitalized by Cindy

Silhouette in mauve and ivory

This is for the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge 72,and nothing like what was in my mind, because putting it together did not come up with what was envisioned, so went back to the start, found this paper from a paper pack in my stash and went from there.

So it contains, Gina K Wild Lilac, SU Ivory, CTMH Gypsy ink on the flowers, and they were punched with one of the tiny SU punches from a three set.   Did not get out the cricut or dies.
The Die is a Marianne die and have had forever, but never used.

The Bling is from Close To My Heart, and the ribbon from stash.

That's it.   Here is the inside done with an EK punch unearthed this week.
If you would like to check out the challenge it is here

And the original sketch from Michelle is  below.     So. have some fun, try a card of your own, and post for us to see.

As you can see actually stayed true to the sketch design this week, except the comment thing,   :)

Floral 5 x 7 card.

Was playing around and got out the Gina K Sweet Mango, my dies and then just had some fun.
The stock is Gina K White, and sweet Mango, except the die cuts.  Always use Close To My Heart for them generally as a 12 x 12 sheet.  Don't open the machine unless cutting a page full.

The dies used are Decorative Labels Eight and Resplendent Rectangles, and the stamp is from the Bloom With Hope set from SU, coloured with Moment Tangelo, and Olive.  Then decided that it needed edging and of course used the Sweet Mango ink from GKD for it to match.

As always, stash for the ribbon, because love purchasing huge quantities by the yard.   :)

This not being able to colour is having me look back to how started doing cards, and adding the dies which did not have then, and just having fun with them, and actually, am enjoying it.
This sentiment is the whole stamp set to me.   It says, "When my mind wanders, I usually find it somewhere thinking of you. "

Of Course the die cut is inside as well to put the message on.

Enjoy.
