Gift Box Card.

This is kind of embarrasing because cannot remember where found this as was putzing about on here one day and found on a line on.    Apologies to the person whom got these measurements from.

Not too sure if would do again unless for a gift card holder, and then it would be better.
This was done with the Close To My Heart Thistle and Pixie Stock, and Confetti Wishes paper.  Ribbon as always from stock as you all know it comes from the fabric stores.  Love going in and seeing what am getting.

Makes for a bright card especially for a younger person, and am still thinking of putting another die cut on the inside for making  a pocket for a gift card.   Have a die cut inside from the Spellbinders Decorative Labels 8 and so would put about 2/3 of one on top of it.   The original one inside has a small dainty  "Happy Birthday"  from the SU set Bloom with Hope and Thistle ink.

Enjoy all.

AHSC 70

This week is again with die cuts.  Got out an old colour "buttercup" as waiting for my new yellow, and did it with embossing folder Swiss Dots, and a Cheery Lynn Die.

Of course the inside has the yellow and a die cut as well, to match, with room for a stamp or personalization.

Simple, fun to do,  but left some of the die cut not actually glued down, and thinking won't do that again.  And because the battery for the camera died when loading on here, cannot try and add more and do again and post on time.

So, It shows what it is like not completely down as all the others usually are, and you can see which way you would like to do yours.

Being on this design team, is my challenge, because doing something to a sketch is foreign to me, and hard to follow. That is my challenge, but often do deviate.  :)

Enjoy.

Original sketch

Card for a three year old.

This is the only one of these have made, but had this really bright paper, so die cut the flowers with Cheery Lynn Dies, added brads, and made into an Easter card for her.   Was not going to post, but decided to.   Not likely to make another one or a fussy one at all, but had to try one.

She loved it and that is what counts, getting happy mail at three years old.  Without a bunch of things on it, the fold was actually quite flat, and mailed great.

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge 68

This is not what was intended for this sketch, but posted anyways.   Tried to use watercolour crayons to do this since holding markers is not working at present.  Did not turn out as well as thought it would, but not to worry, will try with paints when they come in.  Thank heavens saved my brushes.    Whew. :)

Not being able to use the markers is really putting a crimp in the style around here, but that is ok.  Will all come out in the wash as they say, and going back to another medium until able to use them is a plus, and will certainly continue to use when able to go back to markers.     So bear with me, the bloops etc will post as they are part of the creating as well.

This card is made with stardream stock, over the CTMH white.  Love the stardream and this negative cut was shouting out to be used, so of course had to do it.

The watercolour crayons are CTMH as well, and the dies from Lea'bilities.
That was an easy recipe to post.   :)

Here is it with the bloops on the leaves and all.    (at least to me)  Either need practice or use the actual paints as before.
