The Crafter's Cafe Challenge Blog #65

Hi All.  This was a challenge to use a digi and at least 3 flowers.    This design was so cute that had to do it.

It is a digi from Lacy Sunshine called Lizabeth Butterlfly Kiss
She was a lot of fun to colour, and could not decide on the die cut flowers as they are mainly all larger, so went with these.  Yes, there is yellow in the ribbon.

Stock:  Gina K white and bubblegum pink.
DPM :  Momenta
Ribbon :  Elan
Resin flowers are from Close To My Heart
Bitty Bling:  Close To My Heart
Markers:  used copics.  YR02, YR00, YR07, R81,R83, G43, G46, G21, Y17, E01.E11, E50, E51, E53, B21, B23, B24,
And used a couple of promarkers for different additions.   Peony, Trick or Treat and Pressed Leaf
Got a few of them in a special 2013 package to try as all the girls overseas rave about them and had a few really nice colours to add to what is in house with my twin touch and the few copics.  So got them.   What can one say.   Love to colour.

Atlantic Hearts Sketch 56

Good Morning all.  This is a new one for me.   a 6" x 6" like all my friends overseas are making.   Sure is larger than the 5 x 5 have made.

Was fun to try and figure out what dies to use, and since this is two of a large one, worked great.    But if you get these beautiful pearls on the backing, not too sure.  Tried to put in one line and once they are down, they are down.  Got a big off there, but could not remove without ruining the card.   They are absolutely beautiful with the shimmer behind them though, so just have to learn to use them properly.   Thanks to a special girl for them .

The Crafter's Cafe Challenge .

Summer is here already in this area so for the hot spring/summer months of course those of you with a pool most could sit out there at the cooler end of the day enjoying yourself, and this would make it so great.   Either that or a Lime one,  but enjoy.

This week is supposed to be something with a clock or watch on it, and did not ever find what was wanted to took a digi stamp and made a background of it.   With all the stamps around here, thought there should be one never used of one of them, but not so.

Started with Gina K white in both the layering and base weight, added Jelly Bean Green, and went to work.

The digi is from Limited Runs Stamps and called watermelon margarita

Colouring:  Twin Touch Markers R8,R10, R13
Promarkers Green Shoot & Pressed Leaf
Background paper is made from a digi stamp from Presley Press, just duplicated to make it.

The bling of course is Close To My Heart, and the glitter pen that goes around all the white layered on the green is again the "Clear Star"  from Sakura.

Entering in :
