simple easy card

This was a card that was made with a couple of new card makers.   The design is from the book "Wishes" from Close To My Heart.   Was an easy one, but looks cute.

We took the Bermuda Bay stock from SU and put with the reverse embossed paper from DCWV which matched almost perfectly.  This is a great pad of paper, but having trouble finding cards that suit some of it, and seems to fit here.

Popped up the layer with the stamped image on it and the coloured layer for effect.   Of course the inside matches.  :)

The stamp was one from a friend which was in one of the packages received a long time ago, and a favourite to use here on cards.   So simple, watercoloured looking flower.
Inks were the SU markers in Bermuda Bay and Olive.  Don't use the stamp pads they have, but do have a couple of markers.

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge 48

This one came to mind as soon as saw the drawing, so it was a joy to make.

The outside and inside match, as like to finish off the insides to make them be a part of the card if possible.

Designer paper DCWV Glitter stack
Die cuts:   Marianne Die LRO151,  Cheery Lynn Die B162, and Spellbinders Floral Ovals

Kind of a simple paper pieced card for this AHSC

Hi All  This was posted late, so may not be hooked up to the challenge site, but that is ok.  The woman doing the hook ups does have a life.

Could not think of anything, then paper piecing came to mind, so played about, dug out the stock colour loved, then went to work

Stock:  Gina K Ivory Base Weight and Layering
CTMH Sky Blue and paper from the Ballon paper package

Embossing folders:   Clouds are Darice,  Lattice is Lifestyle

Ribbon:  Amy Tangerine/American Crafts

Adhered the cut outs by putting through the Xyron sticker maker , the ribbon with tape and hot glue

Wanted to add snow to the mountains, but then the card is white, and no "dirty" snow please.  :)

Below is the sketch and here is the challenge

Enjoy

Spring Floral

Hi All,   thought we needed some spring, so here are some tulips coloured to match the sorbet stock, and skylark paper from Close To My Heart.

Am so glad to be colouring again.   Yes !!  Enjoy

Here is the original sketch for you and the challenge

Enjoy.

Comments back?

Came back to check and it came up on the post that was saying it was gone - below, so we will see if it comes up on the ones posted from now on.  Does not look like it is coming up on the older posts since doing the page.   Sheesh.   Live and learn.

Comments? Where did they go?

Well, when doing the page for the blogs following, someone who was not thinking, ---  Yup me. !!!!  clicked off the comment thing on that page, because who is really going to comment on a blog list.

Then reality set in.   That removed the comment area from all the pages.   So went to blogger set up to put comments and replies on, and it will not take.  Finally, have sent a message to the designer to ask if in the coding, or this system just not working right.     Please hang in there until it gets fixed.  Thanks.

An oops card.

Just went and looked at the next sketch on the system for the Atlantic Hearts and it has a circle in it, which my printout did not show.  Again.  Did that once before, so just posting this one.

As doing a simple card goes, some days they really give me a run for the money, but this one just seemed to come together, even if it is wrong.  :)

Stock:  Gina K Jelly Bean and white layering
Ink:       Close To My Heart Sweet Leaf
Stamps:  Inspired by Stamping
Embossing folder: birds and branches
Ribbon:  Stash

This is about as simple as they get around here, but like it.  Hope you do as well.
The inside is completed to match the front as usual but actually stamped it this time.

Atlantic Hearts Challenge 45

Although yet again the glitterritz does not show here, it is on all the white die cuts.  Going to have to play about and get a close up after the battery is charged again.  The camera is having a break right now :)

This was another, "oh, can use dies" moment, so got out the colour of stock wanted, the dies and had fun.
Using Gina K White base weight and then Blue Raspberry for the layer, took it and did the criss cross design on it.
Next got the Marianne die and a Memory Box branch die, cut out and played with them to see where wanted.
Took the glue and glittered them all before placing on the Blue Raspberry.

enjoy   Simple, but pretty in life.
