CAS card in purples, turquoise.

Have been seeing this "sunshine" card all over and decided to try it, so played about with how they said to do it, but it did not work out for some reason so just played some more, cut it down and put it on the card.     A simple card., but fun

The stock is "Lagoon" from Close To My Heart,
The Paper is "Laughing Lola" paper packet paper again from Close To My Heart
The card stock is Gina K Designs White Heavy Weight
Lace:  Thanks Karen.

This card is entered in creative craft cottage challenge 5, Buttons and Bows

Christmas Card

Today, is a card made from the kit in the catalogue "Frosted"

A kit that gives you everything you need for stock, paper, twine, bling, to make a set of 15 cards.   How cool is that.   You have to supply your own inks, tape/glue, etc,
But !!! A stamp set is included (shown below) with a value of $17.95.

And remember, our company has equal pricing for Canadians and those in the US.  Not common at all, but shows what a great company this is.

The instructions for cutting and putting together are in a beautiful  10 x 10 foldout folder with diagrams to show you how to cut for the maximum use of the materials.
The kit includes the 15 cards and envelopes, but since wanting to make a square card, will use the ones in the kit for something else.   That is another thing we can do, mix it up but use the general ideas.

The twine was not used on this card.   But is a beautiful natural/tan weave with sparkle through it.  Not a lot, just enough to be great on a card.   If too much, would not have mentioned it.

Card was made with the Stock in Colonial White, Oive, and Ruby, and the Inks are Olive, Chocolate and Sky.
is from the kit, but this link is to the page with all the bling on it.

bling is in the kit, but this is the page for all the bling.  (The regular sparkles will work if not using the kit,  but then, you also don't get the stamp set)

Did you notice the green ink on the green stock.  Both the same colour, but looks so great.

Here is the picture of the stamp set included in the kit.
These sets are only available in the kits, whether a scrapbook kit or card kit, and of course can be used for anything.

As well, as well as the stamps being clear to be able to see where you are actually stamping, each set comes in their own flat envelopes, and maybe take up 1/4+ inch thick storage area deep and are in envelopes that are just over 6.5" square.  How simple to store, and see the sets when looking.   Just like going through a file.   Works great.

Can't wait to make a card with the trees.  Have a few ideas in mind for sure.

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge 18

This card kind of eluded me for a while but then ended up with this.    Could see the rainbow idea, but not complete.   Think my mojo is vacationing somewhere.

For this card used:
Close To My Heart Stock, White Daisy and Olive
Close To My Heart Exclusive Inks in Sunkissed Yellow (old), Hollyhock, Lagoon, Sky
Sponged the sky with "Sky" ink, as well as the three pieces in Hollyhock, Lagoon and Sunkissed yellow.

Marianne Dies for the white for the flowers and leaves, adding Brads from stash.
Amuse Art Studio die for the Grass with the Olive Stock.

This is the sketch that the card was done for.

Enjoy

All occasion

This is another card done when able to colour with the markers, and thought she was so cute.
It is a Sherri Baldy image called "Banana Pie Realism"

Done with Mementa Designer paper, Gina K stock, and Crafter's Companion for alcohol markers white.
Spellbinders die

Since not able to colour much anymore, back to using dies and such, but still have a few to post that did do over the spring.   Hope you like her.

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge 17

This was a fun one.  Have nothing with the shape they had on the diagram and wanted to try so made my own.  Maybe not quite true to shape, but that's ok.  Instead of the third plain one just did a flower.
All the materials here are Close To My Heart. , except the two coloured brads from stash.
Used more Dream Pop Paper from the special.   Am so glad that it was stocked up a bit, as love the bright colours and will be upset when gone.
The Bling across the top is the    Silver Glitter Trim Tape Z1799
with two strips cut into the arrow point as on the paper and stuck together on the paper.
The Bling in the middle of the single flower is Sparkles Clear Assortment Z1752
Enjoy
Here is the diagram for the Challenge for you to use

Card made for a friend

As you know there are still cards done before switching over to mainly my CTMH and this was one of them,  It was done for a friend, and sat here for ages before colouring.  Have no idea why as it was fun to do.

It was coloured with copic markers, Crafter's Companion Stamp, and
Close To My Heart  Bitty Sparkles Z1263
Close To My Heart  Petal Stock, (sorry, old stock) but you can see our beautiful colours here

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge 16

Well this is for the challenge for AHSC again as the sample posted below, but decided to use dies and just play a bit.  This is what came of it.

Took and scored the Gypsy stock with the scoreboard and tool, and cut for the front and panel.  Then took and cut the Daisy White stock and pieced it together.
Actually played with flowers, flourishes, leaves and things and then decided on these from my Marianne Dies.   Nope, they are not CTMH, but some things in house are still going to be used, and the dies are a definite.

So that's it for this card, quick, simple but really came out nice  for some special person.

Here is the original sketch.

Have a good one all, and come and see what we are doing at the challenge

Treat Purse

Good morning everyone.
This is a treat purse that first made two years ago and did a bunch for a Christmas season.  Fun to make and showing how it looks closed and open.
After taking the photos and marking them thought that maybe a tiny snowflake punched out and glittered to stick on the front tab would be just the extra it needs, so will do that later.

It is from a 6 x 6 piece of stock and the bands extra.  Used a fiskars punch to do the oval, but you could do a larger one under it as layers as well.  Just played around as had not done anything Christmas type yet.

Of course this is all CTMH except the square brads from my stash.

Momenta DP
